ENCOURAge brings together CYENS Centre of Excellence (project coordinator), AMEN (elderly care and community outreach), and 3ahealth (digital health SME) to develop an engaging, game-based digital platform that supports cognitive function and improves quality of life for older adults in rural areas through personalized interventions.

ENCOURAge project, a sub-project of the FUTURAL, aims to develop an engaging, game-based digital platform that supports the maintenance and improvement of cognitive function in older adults living in rural areas. Addressing the critical challenge of limited access to specialized cognitive care in these underserved communities, the platform aim to deliver personalized, accessible, and enjoyable cognitive training tasks designed to strengthen mental abilities. By integrating evidence-based cognitive exercises into a user-friendly format, ENCOURAge empowers users to take an active role in managing their cognitive health and enhancing their quality of life. This solution aligns with FUTURAL’s broader focus on “Citizen Engagement and Quality of Life” by providing rural populations with innovative, smart cognitive interventions accessible directly from their homes.
